The wire has an exclusive enamel coating that is available in a glossy metallic finish, or a matte finish. The coating is designed to resist tarnishing, chipping, and peeling and to stand up to coiling, spiral making, twisting, wrapping and other wire working techniques. The wire is available in 18 to 28 gagues (1.02mm to 0.32mm). Non-tarnish brass resembles gold and will retain it's finish and shine due to the non-tarnish coating. (Tinned Copper and Bare Copper do not have a tarnish-resistant coating. These wires will patina, or naturally oxidize and darken with time to produce a vintage look). SILVER PLATED COLOURS: 18 exclusive Silver Plated colours that offer striking beauty and shine. These wires are made by first plating the copper with a precision layer of pure silver. Then a unique enamel colour and non-tarnish coating is applied on top of this silver plating. The silver plating beneath the colour adds an incredible high-shine and brilliance to the wire.
